AD&D Insurance

Regular OREA membership carries with it $1,000 ($500 age 70 and older) accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, underwritten by American Fidelity Assurance Company of Oklahoma City.  There is no cost to the member for this protection, except that OREA membership dues must be paid at the time a member’s accidental death or disability occurs.  Enrollment in the plan is automatic with membership, and only written notice to OREA is necessary in the event of a claim.  American Fidelity may require appropriate proof of death or injury.  (This statement by OREA is not intended to be a legal description of insurance coverage, but only a general statement that such coverage exists.)
